Manasquan, NJ - Algonquin Arts invites couples of all ages, families and friends, to celebrate Valentine's Day weekend at the theatre on Saturday, February 13th at 8 pm to see The Hot Club of San Francisco perform Meet Me in Paris. This memorable live concert featuring singer Isabelle Fontaine is the perfect opportunity to celebrate Valentine's Day locally yet forgettably. Tickets are $35 for adults, $33 for seniors, and $20 for students and children.

This performance, sponsored by the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Manasquan, is inspired by the legendary Hot Club de France. The Hot Club of San Francisco, also known in their local area as Le Jazz Hot, echoes its predecessor's landmark "gypsy jazz" in Meet Me in Paris, a musical journey to the Parisian jazz clubs of the 1920s and '30s. The San Francisco ensemble employs the original Hot Club's all-string assembly of violin, bass and guitars, updating the sound with modern innovations and twists under lead guitarist Paul Mehling. French vocalist Isabelle Fontaine lends her skills in a blend of sweet and sultry ballads, providing all of the romance of the City of Light on this side of the Atlantic.

To reserve seats or obtain more information, contact the box office at 732-528-9211 or email [email protected].
