There's nowhere that the 1920s roared quite like Paris. As prohibition settled in at home, many of America's top writers, composers and artists flocked to France to mingle with Europe's creative minds as its capital entered its Jazz Age. This concert recreates the sounds when that inspired a who's who from the Lost Generation including F. Scott Fitzgerald, Ernest Hemingway, Cole Porter, Pablo Picasso and many more.
Dazzling washboard player David Langlois from France appears alongside some stellar New York musicians including Dan Levinson on clarinet & saxophone, Mike Davis on trumpet and Molly Ryan on guitar and vocals.
Please note: This concert replaces 'Palomar Quartet' in the 2015-16 Jazz Series. The change was necessitated by a change in availability of a key musician in the quartet. Please contact the Box Office at 732-528-9211 if you have further questions.
