Final performance of ev•o•lu•tion 2015 on Saturday, August 22, 2014 at 7:00 p.m.

This year ShoreDance will be a study and celebration of various styles of dance that are fused to make the Koresh Style. In addition to a daily warm-up, students will have technique classes in jazz, ballet, modern, hip hop and tap. The students will then rehearse and learn choreography by Ronen Koresh, Artistic Director, to learn to fuse all these styles into the Koresh brand of eloquent, explosive and emotionally charged dance.

ev•o•lu•tion 2015: Koresh Tour
An evening-length that begins with the clawing and clambering of passionate bodies under dim, prehistoric light. Dancers in open suit jackets grow firm and angular, developing social codes and civilized distance with their bouncing feet and angled elbows. In the end, Koresh's intense and intricate choreography demands whether human nature has changed, or whether our need for communication remains essential and powerful across time.
