Pandemic Policies & Event Updates

Thank you to everyone for your patience, understanding and support throughout the pandemic. This page includes the latest information on programs & policies impacted by the pandemic.

CURRENT POLICIES

This policy is subject to change and will be reviewed monthly. Latest Update: 8/31/21 @ 10 am

For events before October 1:
MASKS REQUIRED. For events in September of 2021, Algonquin Arts Theatre will be requiring everyone to wear masks while attending. Masks may only be removed while actively eating or drinking. Thank you for your cooperation.

For events after October 1:

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS.
For Guests Age 16 & Older

  • Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination OR a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of show time.
  • AND
  • Masks are STRONGLY RECOMMENDED in theatre except when actively eating & drinking.

For Guests Ages 4-15

  • Masks will be required in the theatre except when actively eating & drinking. (There is no vaccination or negative test requirement for anyone between ages 4 & 15)

Proof of Vaccination
Acceptable forms of vaccine proof:

  • Physical Vaccination Card
  • Photo Copy of Vaccination Card
  • Digital photo of Vaccination Card (please be sure date of all shots/boosters are visible)
  • Documentation on the Docket App (NJ)
  • Documentation on the Excelsior App (NY)

Please contact us in advance of attending if you have an alternate form of proof.

ABOUT POLICIES, TICKETS & EVENTS:
In consideration of the health of our patrons, artists, staff, students and our community, Algonquin Arts Theatre has implemented the above policies based on recommendations from the State of New Jersey, the CDC, local boards of health, best practices established by other theatres in our region and direct feedback from our patrons.

Events are being sold to our full capacity. Policies related to the pandemic - including things like masking, proof of vaccination, etc., - may change at anytime before the event. We will make attempts to reach all customers via our pre-show email, but please check back before a show to confirm.

For tickets purchased on or after August 31, 2021, the only time a refunds or credits will be issued is if an event is rescheduled and you are unable to attend the new date, or if we are unable to accommodate all ticket holders due to local, state and/ or federal restrictions in place at the time of the event.

For tickets purchased before August 31, 2021, ticket holders who are unable to follow the COVID-related policies have the option to request a credit or refund from the box office. Please call us at 732-528-9211 to request a credit or refund. You may also email the box office with your name and order number at [email protected] Please allow 3-4 weeks for refunds to be fully processed.

LATEST NEWS

7/29/21 - BORN: A Tribute to the Boss w/ Brian Kirk & the Jirks
This concert has been rescheduled for November 18, 2021 at 8 pm. All tickets are valid for the new date. If you cannot attend the new date, the deadline to request a full refund is September 10, 2021.

7/26/21 - Jekyll & Hyde Canceled
All ticket holders have been contacted by email or phone. Ticket value has been credited to your Algonquin account. Call the Box Office with questions.

SCHEDULE CHANGES

All tickets will be honored on the rescheduled date. We will contact ticket holders via email and/or phone regarding specific rescheduled events once new dates are confirmed.

For events without makeup dates, we are still waiting for an indication of when we can reschedule. When it's safe to do so, we will make announcements online and via email.

Rescheduled Events
The following events have been tentatively rescheduled to the following dates. All tickets will be valid for the new, corresponding dates. Patrons that purchased tickets pre-pandemic can contact the Box Office to change dates or discuss options if you cannot attend.

Postponed Events
The following events have been postponed. Once dates have been set (or an event is canceled), we will contact each ticket holder.

Canceled Events
The following events have been canceled. If you still hold tickets to these events, please contact the Box Office for your options.

RESUMING OUR REGULAR PROGRAMMING

We are working to schedule our 2021-22 season beginning with select concerts in November 2021. Our first production of the season will be Elf The Musical. We are looking to book 2-3 dates each for the Orchestra & Jazz Series. Everything is still subject to change based on availability and the impacts of the pandemic.

TICKET POLICIES

Our ticket policy is that no refunds or exchanges will be offered unless an event is canceled.
