The Algonquin Arts Theatre in Manasquan will continue its tradition of offering a musical production this summer that will feature local and regional talent.

This year’s selection is “RENT,” directed and produced by the New Jersey Youth Theatre [NJYT] in collaboration with the New Jersey Performing Arts Center [NJPAC] and Algonquin Arts, the presenters of the production.

Auditions will be held on Saturday, April 3, at 1 p.m. on the Algonquin stage, or on Saturday, April 10, in the Victoria Lobby at NJPAC, located at 1 Center St. in Newark.

Anyone attending the initial audition must be between the ages of 16 and 23, and must prepare a song for the show. A pianist will be provided at the workshop auditions.
