WORKSHOP 1: Spotlight on Teacher! Inspiring teachers to teach through the fundamentals of acting & improv, will encourage students to be more excited about learning. Facilitated by actor, director, playwright and theatrical teacher of Middletown High School Alexis Kozak, this workshop will help participants discover improv as a bridge to other subjects and build stories by evoking descriptive language.

PERFORMANCE: Otherwise Known as Sheila The Great: Being a 10 year-old kid is kind of a pain. Having an older sister is really a pain. Being afraid of everything is ... well, just plain painful! Sheila Tubman, otherwise known as Sheila the Great, comes of age in this lively and poignant musical about discovering the person within.

WORKSHOP 2: Let's Make a Music Video! Who knew the subjects of science, math, language arts and history were essential to making a Music video? Facilitated by Lavallette School teacher Scott Pearce, participants will brainstorm with one another on how the interest of music culture can be an excellent way for children to be excited about their core courses.
